Margaret Rosas
Founder & Chief Strategist
A techie who can translate geek-speak into English (and vice versa), Margaret began her career building networks and supporting the end user. Her desire to improve the user experience pushed her into the world of application design. She has worked with educational institutions, law firms, Internet start-ups, nonprofits, and small companies to build applications that work--improving the user experience and streamlining workflow processes. Margaret shepherds all Quiddities projects ”big or small” from conception through completion.
Out of the office, Margaret swims laps, gardens in coastal California, and keeps her passport current. She fries chicken in the Southern way, makes gravy from scratch, and is perfecting her Mexican carnitas.
Amie Forest
Creative Director
Amie is the creative force and art director at Quiddities. She has been a designer for over 20 years, specializing in logo development and Flash animation. She lives and breathes color theory and will bring great style to your website and collateral material.
Amie is a painter, illustrator and textile artist. She is a community and political activist and volunteers as an art teacher in her local public school.
Mindi Lawrence
Systems Project Director
Mindi has a way with data. She is fanatical about database design and application development. She has been working with databases for over ten years, building both stand-alone and web database applications.
When the database queries start to run too long, Mindi escapes to the theater where she is an active thespian and costumer. She enjoys long walks on the beach and is most often found barefoot.
Tracy Smith
Technology Director
Tracy has been working with computers since he was 10 and has been a web programmer since the earliest days of the internet (can you say gopher?). He is skilled in Cold Fusion and PHP and quite extraordinary at taking complex business processes and converting them into intuitive, crafty web applications.
Tracy likes to travel, he can cook up some mean macaroni and cheese, but is more often found ordering out for pizza.
William Lawrence
Semantic Engineer
William is, well, a bit compulsive when it comes to CSS and HTML standards. He cares more than most about the what, where and why of browser standards. He keeps us legal in the vast expanse of browser compatibility issues.
William's other obsessions include photography and baking gourmet chocolate desserts.
He entertains a weblog at The Zax Bypass.
Eric Danielson
New Guy
Eric has been a tech geek his whole life, and loves building systems that actually work for people. He is our new PHP/CSS/Javascript guy, a budding Drupal expert and our end-user advocate.
Eric is a recent grad of UCSC in Business Management Economics, which means he can tell you not just What to do with your business but Why. Watch this guy, he's going places.
